A Confused Monty Python Record

This might get confusing, so stay sharp. What I am offering here is ‘Monty Python’s Previous Record’ in the sleeve of ‘Another Monty Python Record’ (that looks like a Beethoven record). Clear?

You see, this isn’t just another  ‘Another Monty Python Record’ – the famous record from Monty Python that looks like someone has scribbled on the cover of a Beethoven LP.  If it were, I’d keep that for myself.  No, this is the cover of ‘Another Monty Python Record’ , but actually contains ‘Monty Python’s Previous Record’, which just to add to the confusion was actually their next record not their previous one.

Still with me?

SEO vinyl enthusiasts worldwide are going to be tripping over backwards waving links for this speciality item, unless by some freak accident of fate someone else’s Dad also happened to keep his music collection in a mess, owned the two same records and made the same mistake.

You may be wondering why I am giving away a not only a one-of-kind record, but something so sentimental too. The answer is that A) I have 10 or so more of my Dad’s old records in the matching sleeves and B) If I did know where the correct sleeve and record was for the mismatched items I wouldn’t be parting with them.

Another Monty Python record includes famous sketches such as Spanish Inquisition and the SEOs favourite: Spam. However you’re only getting the cover of that record, so that’s all rather academic. Monty Python’s Previous Record (which, as we have already determined, was their next record) however contains classics such as Argument Clinic & Travel Agency.

Confused? Maybe the best thing would be to offer us a link for this great item and we’ll post it to you to figure out for yourself.

  1. Josh says:

I’d link to you guys for that.

    • Mat says:

Thanks for the offer Josh. Unless you are really in to shattered vinyl, we’ve decided to hold out for an offer from someone in the UK on this one. Whilst we would be more than happy to ship classic brit humour like python Stateside, we fear that this particular piece of shit might end up as lots of pieces of shit before it completes its journey.

Can we introduce you in any of our more robust items?

      • Josh says:

        Absolutely, what do you got?

  2. Dan says:

That’s some NI!ce shit! (see what I did there) :P

  3. Ben says:

I’m game. Derbyshire’s in the UK.

  4. Mat says:

Ben, you are a man with impeccable taste in shit. Emailing you now.
